  • 2012 Architectural Precast Association Award for Commercial Building and Green Design

The Architectural Precast Association Award a national award presented to James G. Davis Construction, Precast Manufacturer: Aran & Carosi, Inc, for Commercial and Building Green Design was presented at 2012 Annual Convention at the Omni La Mansion in San Antonio, Texas.

  • 2012 LEED Platinum for Core and Shell

On November 30, 2012, Jason Wright, AIA, LEED AP, Associate with Hickok Cole Architects received final certification from USGBC for the 200 Eye Street Core and Shell Project. The project was awarded Platinum Level Certification with 91 out of 100 possible points achieved and well surpassing the threshold of 80 required to reach Platinum.

DC Evidence Warehouse Control Facility

The United States Green Building Council awarded the DC Evidence Facility with the LEED Gold Certification in recognition of the environmental Excellence for this newly constructed facility.

  • 2011 National Association of Industrial and Office Properties - Award of Excellence-Best Industrial/Flex

This project was considered and awarded for Excellence in the Best Industrial/ Flex category for projects that proactively account and innovatively address and meet the special design needs of the Industrial/Flex markets. The warehouse has integrated best practices for property and evidence storage and has used modem technology to create an innovative and efficient state of the art facility.

Department of Employment Services (DOES) Headquarters (Minnesota-Benning Center)

  • 2011 National Association of Industrial and Office Properties - Award of Merit -Best Urban Office Over 150,000 Square Feet

This project involved the construction of the new five-story Department of Employment Services (DOES) Headquarters, which includes 280.000 Square Feet of office space for approximately 450 government employees, a one-stop DC Works Career Center for District of Columbia job-seekers on the ground floor. 7.000 Square Feet of retail space for local businesses, a large ground floor community meeting room, and a two-level 100-space underground parking garage.

Eastern Market Rehabilitation

  • 2010 AC EC Excellence in Engineering

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Washington is a professional trade association representing consulting engineering, land surveying and affiliated scientific and planning firms statewide. The DC Department of Real Estate Services received recognition for exceptional engineering work in restoration and rehabilitation.

  • 2010 District of Columbia Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation for Design and Construction

The DC Office of Planning Historic Preservation Office honors significant contributions by individuals, organizations and businesses promoting historic preservation in the District of Columbia. The DC Department of Real Estate Services received recognition for exceptional design work in restoration, rehabilitation, and/or new construction affecting a landmark or property in a historic district.

  • 2010 Honor Award National Trust of Historic Preservation

The National Trust for Historic Preservation celebrates the best of preservation to individuals and organizations whose contributions demonstrate outstanding excellence in historic preservation. The DC Department of Real Estate Services received recognition for exceptional work in restoration and rehabilitation.

  • 2010 Outstanding Project Award

Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW) awarded the Eastern Market Rehabilitation project in the category for Renovations of $10 to $25 million.

  • 2010 Victorian Society Award

The Victorian Society of American awarded the Eastern Market Rehabilitation project for Excellence and Commitment to Historic Preservation.

New Beginnings Youth Development Center DYRS

  • 2010 LEED Gold

The United States Green Building Council awarded the New Beginnings Youth Development Center with the LEED Gold Certification in recognition of the environmental Excellence for this newly constructed facility.

  • 2009 Merit Award Recipient and Recognition of Excellence

Mid-Atlantic Construction awarded the New Beginning Youth Development Center with the 2009 Best of Awards recognizing Excellence for the new construction of this facility in the Government and Public sector.

AIA New York State, an organization of The American Institute of Architects presented the 2014 Citation for Design to Davis Brody Bond and the DC Department of General Services.

The United States Green Building Council awarded the Waterfront Station 1101 4th Street SW with the LEED Gold Certification in recognition of the environmental Excellence for this newly constructed facility.
