Mr. Imo is a seasoned investment professional with a wide range of experience from investment banking and private equity to real estate development finance. Before assuming his current role, Mr. Imo was a Realty Officer with the Department of General Services (DGS). Prior to that, he served as the Director of Finance and Acquisition at a boutique development firm in the District of Columbia where he assessed every opportunity considered and developed by the firm. Mr. Imo’s financing experience ranges from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) to conventional financing. Mr. Imo directed the company’s consulting practice, representing public and private entities in different projects across the District. Before his transition to the Mid-Atlantic area, Mr. Imo served as Associate with the structured finance arm of Prudential Insurance company, PCG. With more than $79 billion of assets under his management, Mr. Imo has also worked for Stifel Nicholas investment bank. ‘IK’ received his Bachelor’s degree from Rice University.
