In accordance with Procurement Practices Reform Act (PPRA) and in an effort to promote transparency, the Department of General Services ('the Department') posts contract award data beginning in fiscal year 2016.
Fiscal Year 2016 Contract Actions
In fiscal year 2016, approximately 1,862 purchase orders were executed to new and existing contracts as of September 30, 2016. Of that amount, 355 were small purchases[i] with a dollar threshold of up to $100,000. The majority of contract action involved executing new contracts, issuing task orders against existing contracts, and exercising option years of previously executed contracts.

[i] Small purchases are inclusive of fiscal year 2016 awards only.
[ii] Not all contracts with minimum and maximum values, such as IDIQ contracts, are included in the counts in this table and/or have a contract value of zero dollars. These contracts are task order driven and therefore have no value unless a task order is issued against them.
[iii] Some contract values are lower than the anticipated value of the contract due to the issuance of letter contracts. Totals will be updated upon executed contracts.
[iv] Data are valid as of September 30, 2016. DGS’ Contracting and Procurement Division has made reasonable efforts to the ensure accuracy of information. Information contained in this report will be updated periodically, and may be subject to change without notice.
