 The Department of General Services (DGS) is committed to providing residents with safe, dynamic, and accessible recreational spaces, which include our playgrounds, green spaces and DGS takes the responsibility of the maintenance and repair of our properties across the District very seriously. As the implementation agency, The Department of General Services (DGS) primarily rely on our partnership with DPR, DCPS, and other client agencies to inform us of community concerns and maintenance requests. The Department of General Services (DGS) will continue to work with our client agencies, partners and the community to ensure District facilities maintained.

For community leaders, stakeholders or resident's who want to report DGS facility-related issues occurring at a municipal property, school, recreation center or park. Click the link below to begin submitting your request.

Community Facilities Maintenance Request Form

Once you have placed your maintenance request; a member from DGS Facilities FIRST Team will contact you regarding your case and will request a photo. Please provide an accurate description of the issue, location and photo.
