The District of Columbia Department of Genreral Services ("DGS", "District", or "Department"), Contracts & Procurment Division, on behalf of the Metorpolitian Police Department ("MPD") is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to engage one or more Contractor(s) to provide Holding Cell Locking and Gate Mechanism & On Call Repair Service for various District Department MPD and Courthouse facilities. The goal of this procurement is to establish mutliple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) Contracts for holding cell maintenance services in accordance with 26 DCMR Chapter 47, Section 4720. The IDIQ Contracts will provide the Department the vehicle to procure these supllies and services on an as needed basis. Qualified Contractor(s) shall provide cell lock systems and detention grade, gate maintenance and repair services. The required services include cleaning, adjustment, lubrication, calibration, replacement and repair of existing facility holding cell mechanisms to maintain a secure condition.
