Kalorama Park Project

Project Overview

Kalorama Park, located in Ward 1, is a 3-acre triangular park located at the intersection of Columbia Road, Kalorama Road, and 19th Street, NW, Washington, DC. The name Kalorama, meaning 'beautiful view' in Greek, comes from the 19th century estate of the same name. The Department of General Services (DGS) in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) has on existing Capital Improvement project at the site to renovate the park grounds.

The project will address the site-work deficiencies from previous projects as well as address the erosion and water run off issues. The scope of work includes the following:

Storm-water Management Improvement
Landscaping Improvement
Hardscaping Improvement
