The District of Columbia ("District") Department of General Services ("DGS" or "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to engage a design firm to serve as the Architect/Engineer (the "A/E'') to provide a full range of architectural and engineering services for the modernization of the Chevy Chase Community Center ("Chevy Chase"), located at 5601 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20015 (the "Project").

Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the seventeenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings.
