(WASHINGTON, DC) – The Department of General Services (DGS), working with its agency partners at the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and DC Public Schools (DCPS) is pleased to release the summer schedule of GMAX hardness testing for the District’s synthetic turf fields. Testing will occur between Monday, June 28th, 2021 through Wednesday July 14th.

As the implementation agency for all District owned and managed facilities, the Department of General Services (DGS) takes proactive steps to fortify our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and internal air filtration systems for the safety and well-being of District residents.
Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the eighteenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings. This meeting will provide an overview of our testing process and details about activities at specific locations. You can join the meeting by registering and using the link provided.
