The Department of General Services (DGS) has an immediate and continuing need to provide construction management services for the District’s Fire and Emergency Services (FEMS) Capital Improvement projects. The Contractor shall provide construction management services throughout the lifecycle of the project including design - pre-construction, construction, and project closeout.

As the implementation agency for all District owned and managed facilities, the Department of General Services (DGS) takes proactive steps to fortify our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and internal air filtration systems for the safety and well-being of District residents.
Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the seventeenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings.
