As the implementation agency for all District owned and managed facilities, the Department of General Services (DGS) takes proactive steps to fortify our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and internal air filtration systems for the safety and well-being of District residents.
The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS) has an immediate and critical need for pool maintenance, repair, and inspection services. The qualified and experienced contractor will support District-owned and operated Indoor Aquatic Centers and Outdoor Swimming Pools (collectively, the “Aquatic Facilities”) located throughout the District.
Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the seventeenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings. This meeting will provide an overview of our testing process and details about activities at specific locations. You can join the meeting by registering and using the link provided.
