Determination and Findings for Sole Source Procurement-Solar Energy and Battery Storage System Project

The District of Columbia, Department of General Services ("DGS" or the "Department"), Sustainability & Energy Division ("S+E") has an immediate need for a solar + storage analysis of its building portfolio in preparation of a planned solar + roof + storage Request for Proposals ("RFP"). To adequately prepare for the RFP, the Department requires analysis of its building stock, including technological and economic analysis outlining the efficiency, safety, and financial feasibility of solar + storage projects.

Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the seventeenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings.
