Banneker Recreation Center Gets State-of-the-Art Life Saving Tower for Cardiac Emergencies

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the DC Department of General Services (DGS), DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department (FEMS), and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) joined community members and partners to unveil a state-of-the-art SaveStation AED cabinet and life saving tower at Banneker Recreation Center. The initiative is part of Mayor Muriel Bowser’s ongoing investment in community safety and health infrastructure across all eight wards.
