Antoinette Hudson Beckham serves as the Agency Fiscal Officer (AFO) for the Department of General Services in the Government Operations Cluster where she is responsible for the fiscal management of a $1 billion combined operating and capital budget. Hudson-Beckham was an agency fiscal officer in the Public Safety and Justice Cluster (PSJC) for nearly ten years. During her tenure in the PSJC, she led a team in budget formulation, budget execution, financial reporting, financial analysis, accounting, human resources, and procurement for five agencies with operating and capital budgets totaling approximately $225 million. In addition, Hudson-Beckham served as a budget officer and budget analyst in the Economic Development and Regulation Cluster (EDRC) with oversight for $228 million in operating budgets.
Before joining District government, Hudson- Beckham worked at various non-profit institutions, most notably at the Ellington Fund which is the non-profit entity for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC.
Hudson-Beckham is exceptionally active in the Washington DC Chapter of National Forum for Black Public Administrators Board where she served as the Board Treasurer and Secretary for nine years.
For fun and leisure, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Beckham holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Southern University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University with a focus on international business and finance.
