The Department of General Services (“DGS” or the “Department”) has determined the continued engagement of the incumbent Contractor is essential to ensure uninterrupted delivery of city-wide electronic security systems operations, inspection, maintenance & repair services across a broad portfolio of District-owned and operated properties. These services are vital to sustaining the operational integrity of critical infrastructure, safeguarding the security and functionality of public facilities, and protecting the health, safety, and welfare of residents, visitors, students, DC Government employees, and all building occupants.
