Project Description:
The O Street Wall Project, situated on multiple properties on the 3200 block of O Street, SE, involves the Design-Build Stabilization of the retaining wall. This project includes a corrective action plan to enhance the 1,000-foot-long, 25-foot-high structure. The plan focuses on mitigating soil erosion and sedimentation issues, repairing spalling concrete, and removing rust to strengthen the wall's structural integrity. Additionally, a structural movement monitoring (seismic) system will be installed, along with a continuous monitoring program. The project will focus on extending the wall’s service life and maintaining long-term stability.
