The RFK Sportsplex

Project Overview:

The RFK Sportsplex is being designed as a state-of-the-art indoor sports and recreation facility that will support training, tournaments, clubs, competitions, wellness programming, and special events. The 225,000-square-foot facility will serve as the premier indoor athletic facility designed to support gymnastics, boxing, indoor track and field, and esports programming for District youth and families. The scope includes full design-build delivery of specialized training areas, multipurpose event spaces, and an integrated education center, modeled and benchmarked after other regional Sportsplexes. The project is part of the broader RFK Master Plan and is being actively coordinated with the Commanders' Stadium and RFK Campus Redevelopment through shared design and infrastructure planning.
