The District of Columbia Department of General Services ("DGS" or "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to engage a design-builder ("Design-Builder") to develop a design, raze and rebuild the Lafayette Recreation Center ("Lafayette"), located at 5900 33rd Street, NW, Washington, DC 20015 (the "Project"). The existing Lafayette Recreation Center was constructed in L958 and consists of approximately 1000 GSF of space, sited within Lafayette Park, the Lafayette Recreation Center shares important history with the Park.
