The District of Columbia Department of General Services ("DGS" or "Department"), Contracts & Procurement Division, is issuing this lnvitation for Bids (lFB) to engage one or more Contractor(s) to furnish and deliver Building Materials on an as needed basis to DGS. The Building Materials are represented by various categories of materials that may be used for remodeling and repairs to various District facilities. Some frequently purchased items include, but are not limited to, landscaping materials and supplies, tools, lumber, masonry materials and drywall supplies.

The goal of this procurement is to establish multiple lndefinite Delivery/lndefinite Quantity (lDlQ) Contracts for Building Materials in accordance with 27 DCMR Chapter 4T, Section 4720 for Sealed Bidding. The Contracts/Agreements will provide the Department the vehicle toprocure Building Materials on an as needed basis.

This IFB is designated only for certified small business enterprise (SBEI Bidders under the provisions of the "Small and Certified Business Enterprise Development and Assistance Act of 2014", D.C. Official Code I 2-218.01 et seq., as amended. ONLY Bidders that are certified by the District of Columbia Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) as a SBE are eligible.
