The Department of General Services ("DGS" or the "Department"), has an immediate need for the current Contractor’s listed above, to continue providing On-Call Construction, Maintenance and Repair Services for up to an additional twelve (12)-months following the current contract term of expiration. This will allow the Department ample time to solicit award of new contracts. The twelve (12)-month extension will assure the avoidance of any disruption in critical services, which aid in the assurance of safe facility environments for the citizens, employees and visitors of the District Government owned and or operated buildings during the succeeding twelve (12)-month period while the current specifications/statement of work for the subject services is updated, and new contracts for these services are procured.
