Project Description:
The project scope includes: The Modernization of the DHS Naylor Road Shelter will deliver a comprehensive renovation to meet current standards for safety, functionality, and efficiency. The project includes upgrades to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, improvements to life-safety features such as fire protection and emergency alarms, and other critical capital enhancements to extend the facility’s lifecycle. Work will ensure compliance with building codes, ADA accessibility, and sustainability best practices to reduce energy use and operating costs. These improvements will enhance system reliability and support DHS’s mission to provide secure, efficient services to the homeless community.
