The Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") submits this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit proposals ("Proposal(s)") from offerors or bidders ("Offeror(s)") interested in contracting to serve as the construction manager (the "Construction Manager" or "Contractor") to provide construction management at-risk services for the construction of a new Fort Dupont Ice Arena, located at 3779 Ely Place, SE, Washington, DC 20019 (the "Ice Arena").

The Department is issuing this RFP to engage a Construction Manager to provide all work and construction services required to construct and implement the approved design for a new ice skating arena which will include two sheets of ice, larger locker rooms, more storage space, better spectator seating and viewing areas, administrative spaces and offices for facility staff and coaches, new commercial food space, and maintenance and utilities room (collectively the "Work"). Construction is anticipated to commence in September of 2018 and be completed by March 13, 2020.
