New Community Center at Historic Crummell School

Project Overview:

The Crummell School restoration reflects an updated scope. This next chapter focuses on transforming the historic, long-abandoned Crummell School building into a vibrant, fully functional recreation center that honors its legacy while serving the needs of the surrounding community.
This revised plan prioritizes long-term facility performance, operational readiness, and inclusive access by focusing the district’s investment on the core structure, removing the annex to expand interior programming, and integrating outdoor features. The project delivers a more sustainable and impactful recreation hub tailored to community needs.
