The District of Columbia Department of General Services on behalf of the District Department of Parks and Recreation is issuing this Request for Proposals to engage offerors interested in serving as the Construction Manager at Risk for the renovation and modernization of the Benning Park Community Center.

The Benning Park Community Center ("Benning Park") is located in Ward 7 at 5100 Southern Avenue,SE, Washington, DC 20001. The Project will include demolition, renovation, new HVAC equipment and new roof membrane & insulation. It will also include related site improvements regarding Storm Water Management. The new pool area will include locker rooms and administrative areas; family changing rooms; and an ADA compliant main entrance. The recreation center should also have wireless internet routers to service the entire site.
