The Government of the District of Columbia, acting by and through its Department of General Services (the "District", "Department" or "DGS"), on behalf of its client agency, Department of Human Services ("DHS"), is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to engage multiple Contractors (each a "Contractor") to provide Comprehensive, Consolidated Maintenance Services that fall under building, maintenance, and operations services for the list of District newly constructed Short-Term Family Housing facilities (the "Targeted Facilities"):

Site A: Ward 5 I 1700 Rhode Island Ave. NE, Washington DC 20018

Site B: Ward 6 I 850 Delaware Ave. SW, Washington DC 20024

Site C: Ward 8 (4300 12th St.) 1 4300-04 12 St. SE, Washington DC 20032

The scope of Building Maintenance and Operations services covers the most commonly used services required for the complete operation and maintenance of District controlled spaces and assets. Such services include all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided) required to ensure effective performance of Operations, Maintenance and Repair (OM&R) services at any of the District's targeted Short Term Family Housing facilities.
