The ribbon cutting celebrated the design and construction of a 3,250 square-foot gymnasium and fitness center –the largest fitness center in the DGS portfolio. He congratulated and thanked the various partners on the project, including the DGS team, Gbolahan Williams, the Capital Construction Project Manager, Mattie Rogers – Portfolio Specialist, Reggie Greene, Site Manager, and Regina Wilson, the Protective Services Department’s Project Manager.

DCHR also announced the launch of its Fitness Journal Challenge, an eight-week online wellness program and competition designed to engage employees, and promote personal awareness about physical fitness and encourage healthy behaviors.
