Meet Willie Whitehead Our Employee of the Month

Please join in congratulating Lead Officer Willie Whitehead with the Protective Services Division (PSD) at 64 New York Ave, NE supporting the Consolidated Forensic Laboratory (CFL) for going above and beyond and earning the designation of Employee of the Month for July 2015!

Lead Officer Whitehead epitomizes the adage of “Protect and Serve.” He is dedicated and has a strong sense of commitment to service. Lead Officer Whitehead’s exemplary performance at the CFL is in keeping with the standards set prior to serving with PSD, when he was awarded employee of the month honors while serving with DC Public Schools.

Lead Officer Whitehead works with a high degree of energy, commitment and professionalism as he interacts with the staff and visitors at the CFL.

Lead Officer Whitehead consistently supports his PSD colleagues assigned to the CFL with guidance on Government Policies, Rules, and Regulations on a daily basis. He often serves as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of other leadership.

Lead Officer Whitehead seeks to provide extraordinary customer service to the residents, employees and visitors of the District, while supporting our employees’ protection and proactive approaches towards completion of their regular responsibilities. Lead Officer Whitehead’s hard work and dedication demonstrates his willingness to enthusiastically go the extra mile for the people who depend on him. He is another wonderful example of the exceptionally high quality professional staff we have within DGS.

Lead Officers Whitehead’s knowledge and care for the District of Columbia is apparent when working with him and he is one of PSD’s finest.
