The Contracts and Procurement Division (C&P) is a forward leaning, multi-faceted acquisitions operation, committed to advancing transparent, accountable, and efficient procurement practices in support of DGS’ mission.

Mission Statement:

In support of Department of General Services (DGS), the mission of the Contracting and Procurement Division (C&P) is to ensure the delivery of new or modernized, well- equipped, well-maintained, safe and secure buildings and facilities for the benefit of District residents and employees.  The Department seeks to promote the efficient and effective management of the District’s real estate interests and the procurement process is intended to deliver goods and services, including construction services, in a timely, economical and effective manner. We at the Contracting and Procurement Division have as our core values honesty, integrity, transparency, accountability, fair competition, economy, efficiency, and value for our money. We also firmly believe in the fundamental importance of trust, openness, teamwork, professionalism, and pride in what we do.
