Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) provides quality urban recreation and leisure services for residents and visitors to the District of Columbia. DPR is estimated to need 20,000 SF to 30,000 SF. DPR's mission is to enhance the quality of life and wellness for DC residents and visitors by providing equal access to affordable and quality recreational services by organizing programs, activities and events. The District has one or more agencies with space needs ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 SF of additional space that will be needed. A preference will be given to options that can provide 20,000 SF to 60,000 SF of contiguous space within a single building. Building and landowners may propose on 20,000 SF and up to 60,000 SF.
Required building hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday; and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday. However, the District’s employees shall require 24-hour Premises access for 52 weeks per year.
