The last of the short-term family housing sites that were part of a plan to end homelessness and to close a massive shelter in D.C. has been completed. Mayor Muriel Bowser, along with the Department of Human Services and the Department of General Services, celebrated the completion of The Terrell, located on 14th Street NW in Ward 1. It will be the final of eight sites to open. Families are expected to move in this March.
