New Endeavors for Women Ground Breaking

The 611 N Street project will renovate and expand the existing building that houses the New Endeavors by Women (NEW) program. New Endeavors by Women has been serving unaccompanied homeless women in the District since 1988.
Turner Elementary School Ribbon Cutting

Turner Elementary School, located in Ward 8, is one of several D.C. Public Elementary Schools in which the Department of General Services (DGS) completed full modernization and renovations to the existing school facility and construction of a new wing.
The scope of work for Turner included new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems in the school, exterior restoration, a new roof, ADA improvement and technology enhancements to the existing building.
Anacostia High School Ribbon Cutting

Anacostia High School is one of several D.C. Public High Schools in which the Department of General Services (DGS) completed significant renovations to the existing school facility. Renovations to the school were completed in two (2) phases; with Phase one (1) being was completed in 2011.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, officials from the DC Department of General Services (DGS), DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS), the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), SaveStation, and ZOLL, cut the ribbon on the newly installed outdoor Automated External Defibrillator (AED) SaveStation cabinet at Ridge Road Community Center.
