Project Description:
The project will include design and construction including, but not limited to, either raze or demolish down to the structural framing, the existing Chevy Chase Community Center to incorporate additional above ground parking spaces, fitness center with equipment and free weights, lecture / performance hall, half-court gymnasium, multipurpose rooms, childcare area with an indoor play area, teaching kitchen, tech lounges, dance / yoga / Pilates studio that includes wood floors for ballet program, fencing room, pottery area, arts and crafts spaces with a gallery to display art, offices, workshops / makerspaces, a dark room with proper ventilation and silver recovery, and rooftop amenities such as a garden, greenhouse and or an outdoor lounge.
