Fort Lincoln Park and Theodore Hagans Cultural Center

Lincoln Park and Theodore Hagans Cultural Center are located in Ward 5, north of New York Avenue and South Dakota Avenue intersection. The small, 6500 SF facility was built in 1978 and no longer meets the needs of Lincoln’s ever-expanding community. DGS and DPR will be conducting working sessions with community stakeholders in order to design a state of the art new facility that provides multigenerational community spaces. The design team will be tasked with planning upgrades and improvements to the 17-acre park space which includes: a playground, tennis and basketball courts, picnic areas, gazebos, athletic fields and passive green space.
