The Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking offers for warehouse space approximately Twenty-Five Thousand rentable square feet (25,000 rsf) for use by The District of Columbia Department of Health (DOH). DOH promotes health, wellness and equity, across the District, and protects the safety of residents, visitors and those doing business in our nation's Capital. DOH's responsibilities include identifying health risks; educating the public; preventing and controlling diseases, injuries and exposure to environmental hazards; promoting effective community collaborations; and optimizing equitable access to community resources.
Space: 25,000 rsf contiguous space in an existing building
Term: Ten (10) years
Use: Warehouse and any other lawful use.
Delivery: No later than August 1,2018.
Locations: All Submarkets will be considered. Centralized locations such as NOMA, Capitol Riverfront,Anacostia and Southwest are preferred
Tenant Improvement Allowance: The District requires a non-restrictive Tenant Improvement Allowance (TIA) of at least $15.00 (Fifteen dollars) per RSF. Specifically, the District may use its allowance for hard and soft construction costs, IT, FF&E, specific electronic equipment and relocation services. The District may require the Offerer to contract for the build-out of the space.
