The Department of General Services (“DGS” or the “Department”), on behalf of Facilities Management Division (“FMD”), has an immediate need for the current Contractor,National Service Contractors, Inc. (“NSC” or “Contractor”) to continue providing Grounds Maintenance Services for Group 3 and 5, for an additional period no greater than forty-five (45)-days, beginning on April 19, 2020 end ending on or before June 3, 2020. The purpose of this forty-five (45)-day extension is to allow the Department ample time to finalize the evaluation and contract award process under the new solicitation for the services DCAM-20-NC-RFP-0001 Comprehensive, City-wide Landscaping Maintenance and Supplemental Landscaping Services. This additional forty-five (45)-day extension will assure the avoidance of any disruption to critical grounds services during the impending period while Contracts and Procurement works to finalize the new contract awards for these services.
