Project Description:
Cobb Park sits atop the I-395 freeway and was created when the freeway was constructed over 40 years ago. For the past few years, the park has served as a staging area for the Capitol Crossing development and with that project now complete, Cobb Park has been restored to its original condition. The Phase One Reactivation Project includes initial improvements to the 9,600 park space in order to provide key infrastructure that paves the way for an exciting, welcoming park space. Potential park improvements include installation of utilities (gas, water, and electricity), trees, fencing, and other amenities based on the project budget. Additional park improvements will be dependent on future funding.
