Sole Source Procurement - Construction Services – East Potomac Pool Stabilization

A construction contract was competitively awarded to Consys, Inc. to furnish and install a new pool at East Potomac Park. During construction, issues encountered made cancellation of the project appropriate. Due to unforeseen conditions, the project was delayed, and later the contract was terminated before the stabilization work at the pool including a critical system installation of a sewage booster pump for the project site could be completed.
It would be prudent to retain the services of Consys, Inc. to finish the construction services required for the East Potomac Pool Stabilization at East Potomac Park.
