Project Overview
Dwight Mosley - Taft Field will undergo renovation and modernization during the summer of 2014.
Community Requested Upgrades and Additions:
- New sod with Musco lights (field and courts)
- An new artificial field with Musco lights (field and courts)
- Resurfacing of basketball courts
- Resurfacing of walking track
- New benches/trash/picnic tables/water fountain
- Bleachers
- Fencing
- Football Field goals
- Resurfacing/Restriping of tennis courts
Playground Enhancements: The District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA) is a professional association that represents commercial and residential real estate industries in DC. Since 1993 DCBIA has donated over $6M in labor and material to DPR sites. This year Dwight Mosley (Taft) playground has been selected as the community project for DCBIA.
