Sole Source Procurement-MPD Daly Building Entry Gate Construction

BEDD Group was awarded DCAM-21-CS-SP-0068 MPD Daly Building Entry Gate Construction on April 7, 2022 to provide construction services to remove and replace the two wedge anti-ram vehicle barriers at the MPD Daly Building This project was initially awarded with a substantial completion date of December 31, 2022 and an administrative term date of January 31, 2023. Due to market fluctuations and unforeseen material lead-time delays, the initial contract expired before the services were able to be completed. Additionally, DDOT personnel changes resulted in a backlog which delayed the Contractor in acquiring necessary space permits.
