2013 Sprint to Savings Competition WinnersDC Public Schools (DCPS) spends over $30 million annually in energy costs with an annual carbon footprint equivalent to the impact of electricity used by 20,000 homes. Students and teachers can do a lot to reduce their school’s energy consumption while learning about energy and sustainability. The Sprint to Savings is one we get them involved and make conservation fun.

Great News DC Residents…! Today is “Bike To Work Day” meaning no matter who you are you should pull out your bicycle and ride with thousands to your work place. Biking to work is a great way to do your part to help elevate a more Sustainable DC, get some carefree exercise, and save money all at the same time.
